Sugar Loaf Firehouse, Station 2 of the Chester Fire Department, sits within the Hamlet of Sugar Loaf, an Artisan hub in the Town of Chester.

Founded in 1955, the Sugar Loaf Engine Company originally existed at 1410 Kings Hwy, which is the current location of the Chester Fire District Commissioner’s Building. Due to the growing size of fire apparatus, Sugar Loaf Firehouse needed more space. This led to the building of the current Station 2 in 1985.

Sugar Loaf Firehouse houses Engine 911, Brush 912 with UTV 2, Fire Police 918 and Tanker 922.
