Station 3 of the Chester Fire Department sits on Lakes Rd in the Southern end of Chester and is named after the Trout Brook waterway that runs through the Town of Chester as well as parts of Monroe, Warwick and Tuxedo.

Founded in 1973, the Trout Brook Engine & Hose Company was formed as a result of the introduction and expansion of the Lakehill Farms and Windridge Communities.

Trout Brook Firehouse houses Tanker 919, Engine 920, Utility 921 with UTV 3, and Utility 923.
