WALTON LAKE FIRE.

On 03/22/2026 at 0815 hours, the Chester Fire Department was dispatched to a possible structure fire on Tulip Lane in the Walton Lake section of the Chester Fire District. Chester PD first arrived on scene and confirmed a working house fire with one occupant unaccounted for. Car 3 arrived on scene and requested a second alarm while E920 and crew quickly entered the home and located the missing occupant. The victim was immediately removed from the home but was unfortunately found to have succumbed to the fire. Units remained on scene for an extended period of time before the fire was placed under control.
