CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.

Update #2-

As of the end of August, the Old Trout Brook Firehouse stands no longer. The company has relocated into the district’s new temporary firehouse (long term storage building) for the time being as construction begins on the new Trout Brook Firehouse. While there was no Wing Night Fundraiser this year, Trout Brook will have their Christmas Tree Fundraiser this year, so stay tuned!

Over at Sugar Loaf Firehouse, their addition has been framed and is close to being enclosed. The long-awaited culvert project a the edge of their driveway has also been in full force. After those two projects, Sugar Loaf’s kitchen will be renovated. Due to their ongoing construction, they had to cancel their annual Oktoberfest fundraiser. We hope to see you all next year!

And over at Walton Firehouse in the Village of Chester, their bathroom and kitchen renovations are reaching the halfway point of completion. Due to the ongoing construction, Walton’s scheduled wetdown for the district’s new Tower Ladder had to be postponed until 2027.
